Low-cost PR support

What we do and how it works

Writing and distributing a press release does not need to be expensive or complicated. For active clients, we handle the drafting, formatting, and submission. You review the draft before anything is sent. You pay the Search Atlas credits at cost plus a $10 handling fee.

Search Atlas credits are dollar-for-dollar. There is no markup on the distribution cost. The $10 handling fee covers our time to draft, edit, and submit on your behalf.

This is a benefit for clients who are already working with us. It is not a standalone service we offer to the public.

Three steps

How a press release gets done

01

You tell us what you are announcing

Share the news: a product launch, a milestone, a new partnership, an award, a team change. Give us the facts and we take it from there.

02

We draft and send for your approval

We write a properly formatted press release with a newsworthy angle. You review it, request any changes, and approve it before we move forward.

03

We submit via Search Atlas

Once approved, we submit through Search Atlas. Distribution goes out immediately. You pay the credits at cost plus the $10 handling fee.

Good reasons to send a release

When press releases make sense

A press release is most useful when something has actually changed. Routine updates and general awareness campaigns are better served by a blog post or social media. These are situations where distribution tends to be worth it:

New product or service launch

A concrete offering your customers can act on.

Major milestone or expansion

New location, years in business, revenue threshold, or headcount milestone.

Award or recognition

Third-party validation from an industry body, publication, or local organization.

Partnership announcement

A formal relationship with another business, supplier, or institution.

Significant team change

A new executive hire, ownership transition, or notable addition.

Newsworthy event or sponsorship

A community event, charitable initiative, or high-profile sponsorship.

Not sure if your announcement qualifies? Ask us before committing to distribution.
